My son is 6 weeks old. He started to develope rash on his face and suppuration on his ears when he was one month old. The doctor said he had eczema and had him to take Flucloxacillin and to use Fusidic cream. Does he really need to take the antibiotices?

-- 許明隆 醫師【 回覆 】-- Your son seem to have seborrheic dermatitis with infectious eczematoid dermatitis, antibiotics should be given, may be not only topical.
